Housing & Equity Forum

I appreciated the chance to talk about my vision for Kirkland, how to address challenges of affordability and displacement, and promote equity in our work. Thank you to Eastside for All, Indian American Community Services, and the Housing Development Consortium for organizing this important discussion.

All candidates were invited. Only Neal Black (running for position 3), Shilpa Prem (running for position 5), Kurt Dresner (running for position 7) and I (running for position 1) showed up. Other candidates refused to participate or RSVP’d and later cancelled.
